Cleaning your Kidoodle mat is a breeze! A simple wipe with a damp cloth is usually all it takes, and we love letting kids take charge of this part. For busier days, just pop it in the dishwasher top rack for a deeper clean. On the go? A quick swipe with a wet wipe will do the trick. If there's any leftover ink or residue, a little warm water and detergent or a small amount of an alcohol based sanitiser will have your mat looking brand new again. We recommend cleaning your mat as soon as you're finished using it. To avoid stubborn stains ensure you clean it within 1-2 days. If you're finding darker colours hard to shift, warm soapy water should do the trick.

We recommend wiping the colours off the mats within a day or two of colouring. If you find that some colours aren’t coming off completely with a damp microfiber cloth, a little hand sanitiser can help. If you’re still facing stubborn stains after that, please get in touch with us at hello@kidoodle.com. Just send us a few photos, and we’ll find the best solution for you!

Our Kidoodle markers are erasable whiteboard markers designed for use with our silicone drawing mats only. We cannot guarantee the complete removal of ink stains on materials other than our mats, particularly surfaces that are highly absorbent in nature.

Our pens are safety compliant non toxic erasable whiteboard markers. The silicone mats are made from 100% food-grade silicone and are free from harmful chemicals such as BPA, BPS, PVC, phthalates and lead. We wouldn't have it any other way!

Our product is free from substances that are considered hazardous to health at their intended use and concentration. However, we strongly recommend parental supervision for young children who may still be inclined to mouth objects. Your child's safety is our priority!

At Kidoodle, we believe that doodling knows no age limit! However, we want to remind you that the marker lids can pose a choking hazard for unsupervised toddlers. For children under 3, we recommend doodling with adult supervision. Also, please note that the ink from our markers may stain fabrics, so keep an eye out while your little ones create!

This commitment to reducing excess waste is fundamental to our values. We view things like cardboard labels, tissue paper, and stickers as unnecessary clutter that can easily be avoided.

While they are designed to be reusable and long-lasting, once your Kidoodle mats reach the end of their life, you can find your local Silicone Send Back collection point where they will be given a second lease on life. Please see our How To Recycle page for the full run down.

You’ll be convinced as soon as you feel it! We’ve carefully sourced a supplier that meets our high standards for quality. Kidoodle mats are designed to last, though they can still be susceptible to sharp edges and permanent stains. While we carefully inspect each mat to ensure top quality, a few imperfect prints with ink smudges might occasionally slip through. If you happen to receive one of these, please reach out to us—we’ll be more than happy to arrange an exchange for you!

At Kidoodle, we take pride in ensuring that only the highest quality products represent our brand. However, our commitment to the environment is even stronger and want to avoid our perfectly usable mats ending up in the landfill. We are working on donating these mats to local charities and community groups. If you know of any organizations that could benefit from them, please reach out! We usually process all orders within one business day so please email us immediately at hello@kidoodle.co.nz requesting a cancellation. If your order has already been processed and shipped, we won’t be able to cancel it. If your order hasn’t been packed, we will happily issue a store credit, minus any transaction fees.

In the unlikely event you receive a mat with a print defect, please send us a photo of your faulty product and proof of purchase to hello@kidoodle.co.nz. Take a look at our returns policy for more information.
